(Pictures are organized in a flickr photo album; the photos are too large for weebly too upload. Sorry fot the inconvinience).
There are two parts in my life. First part is before I came to Canada. I had the opportunity to go back to where I lived for the first 12 years of my life. I took one day to have a walk around the city and took pictures. With a camera in hand, I was able to catch places, whether or not I have been to, and capture moments that seemed so abstract to me when I was young. It was fascinating when I saw the traffic in slow shutter action. When I was small, they were just tires spinning at a incredibly fast rate. Perhaps the sky was different as before, but I believe that the city remains the most beautiful city I've seen.
Second part is Vancouver. Never had I seen such a beautiful landscape in my life until I went hiking with my friends. It was something that you'd see in Discovery Channel or National Geography, but better. If you show anyone the pictures we took, no one would believe they are Vancouver. But they are. Some of the best views are right beside us.
Personally, I hate downtown. Not just downtown vancouver, but almost every downtown of every city(especially NYC). Maybe it is the prosperity, maybe it is the people, or maybe it is just me. Yet, one of my best shots(personally) was shot in downtown. Life loves to fool people...it gives them the best at the worst.
